Touch teams need to have all individual players registered on Sporty Website with player name, D.O.B., address, phone number and email address (this is a requirement from Touch New Zealand)

Link for registrations – one for Team Registration and one for each player is needed to be completed

  • Players are only allowed to play for 1 team this season and players must be over the age of 14 years to play in the Senior Module. There will be no exceptions to these rules in 2025/26.

Social Grades only

The Parklands United Sports Club Committee have determined that this is to be a Social Module and as such there will be no prizemoney on offer for the 2025/26 season. Whilst scores will be recorded and a table kept, players are reminded that the competition is a Social Module which is for the enjoyment of all.

Team Uniforms

All teams must have a matching uniform top at least.  Where possible it is asked that these be numbered on either the back but is not a final requirement, as this does assist the referees.

Official Draws and Results

Once the draw for the module is made there will be no changes to fixtures unless otherwise agreed by both teams and the tournament organisers. All official draws and results will be available on the club website at www.parklandsunited.co.nz/touch and on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/parklandstouch.

Referees

Parklands United Sports Club is making a determined effort to ensure all games have one if not two referees who have been trained.  If your team has someone who wishes to referee (they get paid per game plus a drink in the clubrooms) please let me know – the Club is willing to put touch players through a touch referee’s course with Touch Canterbury if anyone is interested. The core referees will be paid for each game that they referee - $10.00 per game.

Clubrooms

The Clubrooms will be open every Friday night for the teams after playing to socialise. We encourage you to join your team members in the clubrooms after the game.  Hot food is also available to purchase.

Teams are encouraged to come into the clubrooms each week and socialise as well as play their games on the reserve.
